There are lots of pictures, manga are comics, they are read from back to front, and some of the series can go on for a very long time.
Shinigami are known for bringing peoples souls to the after life and to the place where they would be judged and determined whether or not they will go to heaven. The soul reapers in Bleach are a direct reference to this belief in Japanese mysticism.
When Ichigo looks into the kitchen and sees the kitchen trashed and finds his father injured. Then he rushes into the kitchen which is signified by the speed lines and then there is a look of realization which is when he sees the hollow that created all of the damage.
Evil is in everyone because before Ichigo realized that the hollows were true nature, he would just go ahead and kill them but when he found out the truth and that they were actually human, he really doesn't want to do it anymore
